Illusion

In this photo I am in the Alive Museum at suntec city. The Alive Museum first started in Korea as Trick Art Museum in Seong-eup, Jeju Island. This museum have artwork exhibits that are brought ALIVE with 3D painting, shading and drawing techniques that create visual illusions, where you can take photos and feel like you are in the art piece. Every artwork in the museum is hand painted by artists and coated with special paint to preserve the quality of artworks. I find that Alive Museum isn't only for entertainment but also inspirational for designers or artists. 

Doodles

In this picture there are many random doodles. This picture was taken in Scape, where there are variety of amazing artworks on the wall like this one. This doodles made me feel it is really expressive by the way the drawing have thick and thin lines, especially the superimposition by how some drawing are overlapping the other drawing. This is my personal favourite in Scape because there are many of my favourite cartoon characters in one artwork and it have many other cute random things. 

Pets

In this picture, this is my pet hamster named junior. It passed away just last year. Ever since my hamster passed away I felt weird not having any furry friend next to me. I always loved animals so not having a pet right now is quite lonely. Pets are more than just a companion, they are meant to be your best friend because they will always play with you and keep you stress free.

Change

There is plenty of things thats are different this year. I'm in a new school, new friends and a new life changing journey. When going to Nafa, I was worried about the assignments and also how are the teachers like in Nafa. It is already my 2nd week in Nafa and so far it is going pretty well. There are many assignments to finish in a week but so far I can manage it well and most of the teachers are nice and patient.

freedom

The sky, as brilliantly blue as the ocean in the morning, golden orange as any summer day, or even midnight blue as the starry night. The sky never failed to amaze me, filled with mysteries and beauty. Sometimes staring at the sky makes me relaxed and have the sense for freedom. The sky makes me wonder how the colours actually looked like a painting. The colours of different shades of blue for morning and night is extremely breathtaking.

Music

This is a guitar from a church that I always attend to. I always love music and sometimes I admire people that can play musical instruments. I do not own a guitar because I do not have any musical talent. However, I always wanted to take up guitar lessons since young but unfortunately my parents said that it's a waste of money because it's unnecessary to learn it. So instead I took art classes instead which is why drawing and designing is my specialty. 

Railway

This picture is taken at an old railway track between Tanjong Pagar railway station at the southern end of Singapore Island and Woodlands Train Checkpoint at the northern end. This railway track have actually been closed down since 1 July in 2011, even though it has been closed down it is now a famous place for taking photos or even having a stroll around the railway tracks. Walking along the tracks made me feel some sense of freedom since its the only place in Singapore you can walk freely without any moving train driving by.

Tim Brown Tales of creativity and play

Adults tend to forget the importance of having a playful mindset to be creative, they sometimes fear judgement and are embarrassed to show their ideas.

However kids have an open mind and is more open to explore possibilities. So it is fine to show how creative you can be with your work and have an open mind with new ideas and possibilities.

Some offices are designed creatively like Google offices. They have many creative and fun decoration at the office and these designs may help people to feel relaxed or maybe even give them ideas just by being in a creative environment. It takes more than decor, but I think creative companies do often have symbols in the workplace that remind people to be playful .

Spirituality

I choose to take this photo of a bible specially for Sunday because I am religious towards my religion and I always attend mass on Sundays. Sometimes not many Catholics believe in God, some may wonder when they have gone though tough times, why isn't God there to help. I actually used to feel that way too whenever i gone though the worst times and wonder why can't I feel God's presence. Well God may help us in many ways but sometimes we might need to handle situations by ourself. I believe that i feel much closer to god by going to church and reading the bible often.

Meal

This picture is taken at a Chinese restaurant my family often go to every weekend. My family often come here in the morning for it's dim sum. In the morning till mid afternoon they only serve dim sum and in the evening they switch to dinner menu. In the picture it is crowded and filled with families. They have great food and it's ambience is probably the most authentic and classic looking restaurant in Singapore. You will find that nostalgic feeling of being in a traditional dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong as the place practically looks like you stepped back in time to the 1970s.

Leisure

This picture was taken in Orchard Road and the shopping mall is Mandarin Gallery. Orchard is a great place for shopping as there are many stores all around. Orchard is not only a place for shopping but there are many places to eat as well, there are many nice restaurants and cafes. Orchard is a famous place for tourist. I can see many foreigners and even local Singaporeans walking around Orchard. I feel that Orchard is a good place to eat or walk around during your leisure time.

Thoughtfulness

I took this photo on my way back home. The reason why i used this photo is because this photo makes me realise how helpful people are in the outside world, because in social media i have seen a lot of people being unhelpful, racist towards another religion and people breaking the laws of Singapore. This makes me feel that how people have some humanity in them. In this picture I can see that there is people helping each other out. It seems like some foreigners are asking for directions. This made me feel that some Singaporeans out there are helpful.

Nature

This is a beautiful Hibiscus flower that caught my attention. Every flower has it's meaning and for a Hibiscus it represents delicate beauty, unity and peace. The flower petals each represent a different quality and come together to represent great peace. Nature is one of the most beautiful creation of God. Just by looking at nature it makes you feel at ease and relaxed. Flowers are beautiful objects, they give much pleasure to our mind.

Architecture

This building is the National Library located at Victoria Street. It is probably the biggest library in Singapore as it have 16 storeys. I just love how modern and elegant this building structure is. Libraries are a great place for learning as there are many interesting books. Libraries have variety of books, magazines, audio visuals and even comic books too. I go to libraries to borrow comic books most of the time because I am a huge fan of Dc comics. I personally like being in libraries since I like quite places that is great for studying or just hanging out with friends.
